Motorola Invests in CE Device Content-Sharing Developer DARTdevices

Palm Desert, Calif. - DARTdevices, a developer of connectivity software for consumer electronics devices, announced that it has received an undisclosed investment from Motorola Ventures while introducing its technology at the DEMO 07 event in Palm Desert, Calif.

DARTdevices' software platform allows wireless interactive sharing of applications such as music, photos, video, calendars and games, across multiple consumer electronics devices including mobile phones, PDAs, computers, TV set-top boxes, printers, MP3 players and digital video recorders.

The Mountain View, Calif.-based company said initial version of its software will focus on mobile phones, computers and set-top boxes.
