Nokia to Debut New N-Gage Game Phone Platform in the FallAuthored by Mark Hefflinger on February 5, 2007 - 2:28pm.
London - Nokia has announced plans to introduce the next generation of its N-Gage mobile phone game platform in September, with publishers Electronic Arts and Gameloft committed to creating games for the new release, GamesIndustry.biz reported. Recent reports have speculated that Nokia plans to integrate N-Gage technology into a series of phones, rather than releasing another dedicated handset. "One of the main events for us is GDC in San Francisco in early March and that's really where you can expect some announcements," Jaako Kaidesoja, head of Nokia's games effort, told Mobile Entertainment magazine.
