New York - Publisher Conde Nast's CondeNet digital arm has announced the launch of Flip, a new social networking site for teen girls.

The site features "Flipbooks," or customizable, multimedia scrapbooks to which members can upload photos, songs, videos, stickers, animations and other content. Members can also draw, rotate and size elements, and choose page transitions.

"Flip combines social networking with online scrapbooking, and it's clearly an addictive mix," said CondeNet editorial director Jamie Pallot.

The free site has so far drawn advertisers including Nike, Clean & Clear, Nordstrom and PacSun.
