New York - Warner Music Group announced that it has signed a deal with social music network Last.fm, licensing its catalog for play on Last.fm streaming radio services offered in the U.S. and Europe.

The major label deal is the first of its kind for London-based Last.fm, which claims 15 million active users per month for its service that recommends music to users based on their tastes, and those of others in the social network.

Last.fm users will have access to Warner songs both on the free, ad-supported version of the service, and on a forthcoming premium, subscription-based interactive radio service.
