Vantrix Corporation, a provider of mobile media services, has announced that Manish Jha, a veteran mobile media executive, has been named Chief Executive Officer. Jha was most recently Senior Vice President and General Manager of ESPN Mobile, ending a tenure at ESPN that had begun in 1991.

Freewebs, an ad-supported company that allows users to build their own web sites, has named technology and media veteran Liddy Manson as its COO. Manson spent the past nine years in a variety of senior management roles with WashingtonPost/Newsweek Interactive, most recently as the vice president and general manager of the company's online classified, search and ecommerce businesses. In September, Freewebs raised a reported $11 million in its first round of funding. Since its founding in 2001, the company said over 14 million web sites have been created using its free, do-it-yourself web site building program.

PopCap Games, a developer and publisher of casual games, today announced that it has hired Greg Canessa to the newly-created position of Vice President, Video Game Platforms. Prior Canessa was GM of Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade service, where he helped define their online games strategy for the past seven years. His tenure at the company officially begins next week.

The MPAA announced on Wednesday that John Feehery is stepping down from his position as Executive VP Worldwide Government Affairs, effective immediately. Feehery is leaving to start a consulting firm and will become a consultant to the organization, as well. He joined the MPAA in 2005. MPAA Chairman and CEO Dan Glickman will resume Feehery's responsibilities.

ABC Radio Networks has announced John Rosso will take on the additional role of heading up its Digital Media division. As Sr. Vice President, Affiliate Relations and Digital Media, he will continue to oversee all affiliate relations, adding on the newly created position as head of Digital Media. Also effective immediately, TJ Lambert will be in charge of leading affiliation efforts for all ABC Radio Networks general market programs and services, as well as oversight of the Commercial Clearance Department.
