Mountain View, Calif. - Google's YouTube video-sharing service has complied with subpoenas from 20th Century Fox that demanded the identity of a user who uploaded episodes of "24" and "The Simpsons" -- some before their initial broadcasts -- to the site, internetnews.com reported. In addition to YouTube, the video-sharing site Live Digital also complied with a Fox subpoena. The YouTube user "ECOtotal" and Live Digital user "Jorge Romero" were targeted in the Fox court filings, and will now be identified by the companies for Fox. "We intend to use the information provided to pursue all available legal remedies against those who infringed our copyrights," Chris Alexander, 20th Century Fox Television vice president of media relations, told internetnews.com.
