Report: Leonardo DiCaprio to Star in Enron Movie

Leo DiCaprio New York, NY – Warner Bros has announced a new movie about the 2001 Enron scandal that will star Leonardo DiCaprio.  He will also be a producer on the project, through his production company Appian Way.  Early indications are that the movie will be based on the book “Conspiracy of Fools,” by New York Times columnist Kurt Eichenwald, the studio said.  CNBC reported that Warner Bros paid a little over $1 million for the movie rights, a fair price according to industry analysts.  No release date for the film has been set.
