Los Angeles - Gemstar-TV Guide International, a provider of electronic program guides for digital TV services, and the publisher of TV Guide, announced on Thursday that it has acquired a number of TV-related websites.

Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.

The company said its acquisitions of TVShowsOnDVD.com, TV-now.com, FansofRealityTV.com and certain assets of eVoke TV, along with its June 2006 purchase of JumptheShark.com, will broaden the reach of it its TVGuide.com destination.

The site claimed 3.6 million unique users in December, according to Nielsen NetRatings.
