Activision to Acquire Game Development Software Firm DemonWare

Santa Monica, Calif. - Video game publisher Activision will acquire Ireland-based DemonWare, a developer of game creation software, Ireland's Sunday Independent reported.

The deal is expected to be valued at around $20 million or more.

Founded in 2003, DemonWare's network middleware for game developers has been used by customers including Activision, Atari and Ubisoft, on games like "Call of Duty 3" and "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent."

Previous investors in DemonWare, which along with Dublin also maintains offices in Los Angeles and Vancouver, include Dublin Seed Capital Fund and Enterprise Ireland.

Does anyone know of a Video

Does anyone know of a Video Game Software that i can use? I want to make a small easy video game, it doesnt have to have good graphics or be anything special, i just want to make it with about 13/14 year olds. Thank you
