Novato, Calif. - Sonic Solutions, a developer of digital media software, said on Friday said that it has received letter from the Nasdaq Stock Market warning the company that its stock is subject to delisting from the Nasdaq Global Select Market.

Sonic said that the notice was expected after it failed to timely file its quarterly report for the quarter ended Dec. 31, due to an internal review of its stock option grant practices and related accounting.

Sonic said that it will appeal the ruling, and has requested a hearing.
