Yahoo Music announced Ian Rogers as General Manager replacing David Goldberg, the former VP, and Robert Roback, the former General Manager, who resigned last week for personal reasons.

Napster today announced that Thorsten Schliesche has been promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing Europe, a new position in the company. Schliesche will oversee centralized sales and marketing activities for all of Europe, including Napster's UK service, in addition to his current role as general manager for Napster's Frankfurt sales office. Napster also announced the promotion of Ian Greaves to Head of Programming for Napster UK.

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting today announced David Liroff as Senior Vice President, System Development and Media Strategy. Liroff will oversee CPB initiatives including: system strategy and policy development, audience- based research, implementation of station grant policy and strategy, and investments in new technologies.

Microsoft announced Don Mattrick to take on an Advisory role, working for the company's entertainment and devices division. Mattrick was previously worldwide president of studios at Electronic Arts.
