Project Manager - New Motion – Irvine, CA

New Motion, a provider of digital entertainment products and services, is seeking a Project Manager to be responsible for coordinating product launches and upgrades. Working directly with Product Management to understand deliverables and objectives, the Project Manager will be the lead driver in bridging the gap between technical, operational and creative departments. The Project Manager is a critical player in the organization in working with and motivating a team to take a deliverable from vision to reality in a timely manner.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Create and execute project work plans, and revise as necessary.
2. Track all ongoing projects, coordinate internally and externally, and drive projects to completion.
3. Provide periodic project status reports to various internal stakeholders.
4. Manage the process and validate the quality of deliverables.
5. Function as the critical link between Technology, Operations, Creative, and Product Management departments.
6. Act as key liaison in communicating with Brands and Third Party Content Providers to obtain necessary information, assets, and various approvals for creating and launching mobile products. 7. Understand and execute user flow diagrams for WAP and other applications.
8. Responsible for taking high level product vision from Product Management and creating functional requirements for execution by operations and technology.
9. Responsible for coordinating the refresh of various product lines and updating versions for applications.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required;
2. Prior experience in Mobile, Online and/or Digital Entertainment fields working with WAP, SMS, Ringtones and Graphics.
3. Proven track record in leading a team to deliver mobile / digital product.
4. Experience working with remote product delivery teams.
5. Strong project management skills with ability to create timelines using MS Project or other online tools.
6. Proactive self starter with great interpersonal skills and a drive to succeed.
7. Solid understanding of product usability from a consumer point of view.
8. Able to push the limits to consistently produce a superior product while adhering to strict time management.
9. Attention to detail and obsession with being organized.
10. Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
11. Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
