West Hollywood, Calif. - Local city guide Citysearch, a unit of InterActiveCorp (IAC), announced that it will acquire Insider Pages, a provider of local search and user-generated reviews of local businesses in 30 U.S. markets.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2004 as an Idealab company, Redwood City, Calif.-based Insider Pages now counts 2 million monthly unique users, according to comScore, and houses a database of 600,000 user reviews of local restaurants and other businesses.

Citysearch plans to integrate the company's user reviews into its own, giving the company a total of over 1 million reviews of local businesses.

Insider Pages will retain its distinct brand, while moving its operations to Citysearch's San Francisco office.
