New York - Accenture, the global provider of management consulting, technology and outsourcing services, announced on Monday that it has acquired Paris-based Digiplug, a provider of mobile content repurposing and distribution services, from Japan's Faith Inc.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 1998, Digiplug provides its mobile content services to major music labels and mobile handset makers.

Accenture said it will integrate Digiplug's offering into its new Accenture Digital Media Services division.

"Digiplug will enhance our ability to help clients transform themselves for the new digital world."
