Dulles, Va. - AOL said on Monday that it has signed a two-year deal with publisher Gannett's PointRoll unit to develop new rich media products and formats for marketing partners.
Under the deal, Pennsylvania-based PointRoll will work with AOL to create interactive featuring video and audio elements.
PointRoll also will provide AOL with a dedicated rich media team.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. PointRoll is a fully-owned subsidiary of Gannett.
