Washington - Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, said on Thursday that he plans to provide more details in coming weeks on possible legislation that would overturn the U.S. Internet gambling ban, Reuters reported.

"I'm not ready to give you more details, but I will be by next week or so…There's no urgency on it," Frank told Reuters.

A representative for Frank told Reuters that he has not drafted a bill and has no timetable for action.

Online gambling by U.S. citizens was outlawed by legislation signed into law last October by President Bush.
