Report: Hoops Fans Favor ESPN.com, Yahoo, CBS SportsLine for Brackets

New York - College basketball fans going online Monday and Tuesday to fill out brackets for the NCAA Men's Div. I Basketball Tournament kicking off this week spread themselves fairly evenly across ESPN.com, Yahoo Sports and CBS SportsLine.com, according to data from Hitwise.

ESPN.com's Men's Tournament Challenge page received 32.8% of the market share of visits to bracket pages on March 12-13, while Yahoo Sports' Tournament Pick'em site drew 30.4% and CBS SportsLine.com's Fantasy Mayhem took a 30% share; Fox Sports on MSN's site also attracted 6.9% of visits.

Hitwise said users spent an average of about 15 minutes on the sites filling out their brackets.
