The North American Marketing Director will help build & manage the initiatives that will lead and drive all North American Marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have: • Experience in creating an environment for building strong consumer based Internet communities • Experience in creating and leading marketing campaigns that successfully drove traffic online (proven track record) • Demonstrated success in, and a creative approach to, utilizing viral, grass roots and guerilla marketing tactics to attract traffic, drive conversions as well as drive brand awareness Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage online and offline marketing programs, with initial focus on consumer acquisition and retention • Analyze site traffic patterns, business metrics, and program effectiveness to develop and refine campaigns • Establish and manage strategic relationships that will drive growth • Work closely with product, development, and management teams to achieve business objectives through effective marketing programs • Manage production of marketing collateral • Research and evaluate Web sites for partnership opportunities • Analyze partner and advertising campaigns (CPM, CPA, etc.) to optimize performance • Develop and implement best-in-class acquisition techniques • Manage online campaigns to effectively reach company growth and acquisition cost goals • Manage tracking and reporting of marketing programs and provide management reports and insights as needed • Maintain strong relationships with partners; constantly look for opportunities to solidify and grow our partnerships • Own the budgeting and planning process for this channel, including forecasts, performance to plan, reviewing of results, etc. Requirements: • Undergraduate degree; MBA preferred • 5-7+ years of consumer marketing experience, with emphasis on online consumer marketing • Proven track record of success in acquiring users for consumer products and at creating word of mouth/viral marketing • Experience managing outside agencies (e.g., PR) • Strong business acumen, keen analytic skills and SEO/SEM experience • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation skills, and relationship management skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment Web Address: www.sulake.com Email Address for Replies: paul.thind@sulake.com |
