Redwood City, Calif. - Frengo, a publisher of text message-based mobile games, on Monday introduced its service and announced a partnership with Boost Mobile. The Redwood City, Calif.-based company said its games revolve around sports, celebrities and pop culture, and are intended to enhance social networking. Frengo launched a text alert-based game for Boost Mobile subscribers, which lets them predict winners in the NCAA college basketball tournament; the company added that its titles work on all major U.S. wireless networks. Frengo also offers a game-building kit that allows members to create user-generated games.
