New York - Viacom's MTV Networks announced on Tuesday that it has posted the entire third season of its "The Andy Milonakis Show" for download on iTunes this week, in advance of the season's broadcast premiere on April 27.

The show stars a teenager whose comedic talents were first discovered through his own Internet-based show.

"Our audience is spending as much time on the internet, their mobile phones and with video games as watching TV and they want to be able to control how, when and on which platforms they can access and watch the programming and content they love," said MTV Music Group president of entertainment Brian Graden.

"Because The Andy Milonakis Show was born from the internet, we felt that it was the perfect vehicle to experiment with a new distribution strategy in which we premiere an entire season of a returning series via digital outlets prior to its on-air debut."

MTV said iTunes will offer the season's first episode for free, the entire season for $9.99, and individual episodes for $1.99 each.

After March 27, the full season will also go on sale via the Xbox Live Marketplace, Amazon Unbox, AOL Video and Wal-Mart Video Downloads, while MTV's own MTV On Demand and MTV2.com will feature one new episode per week.
