San Mateo, Calif. - Oodle, the provider of a search engine for local classified ads, said on Tuesday that it has raised $11 million in a new round of funding from new investor JAFCO Ventures and previous investors Greylock Partners and Redpoint Ventures.

Oodle said that it will use the funding to further expand Oodle.com, which currently features more than 20 million listings from more than 75,000 sources.

Founded in 2005, the San Mateo, Calif.-based company also derives revenue by selling featured listings across Oodle and the Oodle Network, a collection of newspaper, television, yellow page and Internet sites that incorporate the company's classifieds search capabilities.

The network includes major newspapers such as the Washington Post, business directory providers such as Local.com, TV stations such as KLAS (Las Vegas) and large Internet sites such as Lycos.
