Social Network Marketing Firm YFonGlobal Raises $1.8 Million

Washington - YFonGlobal, a developer of social network marketing technology, said on Wednesday that it has raised $1.8 million in its second angel round of funding.

Investors included American Management Systems founder Patrick Gross; John Hibbard, the former managing director of Telstra Global Wholesale; Thomas Hudson, the chairman of Connectivity Solutions, and Richard Liebhaber, the former senior vice president of network operations at MCI.

The company said that it can raise up to $300,000 more from one angel investor's matching funds offer.

The company will use the funds to expand sales and marketing of its hosted social networking platform geared towards associations, political organizations, small businesses and virtual companies.
