San Francisco - HandHeld Entertainment, a maker of portable media players and operator of video download sites, said on Tuesday that it has acquired UnOriginal.co.uk for $500,000. The deal includes $250,000 in cash payable over the next 15 months and $250,000 in HandHeld stock. UnOriginal.co.uk is a site focused on user-generated videos, pictures and games optimized for searches. Launched in 2004, the site attracts close to 900,000 unique visitors a month and has had more than 82 million page views since its launch. It marks HandHeld's third acquisition in Europe, following its deals for Putfile.com in February and YourDailyMedia.com in December.
