Microsoft to Distribute Mercora Mobile Radio Service

Orlando, Fla. - Mercora, a provider of personalized Internet radio stations with social networking features, announced on Tuesday the launch of Mercora M v2, a new version of its service for 3G-enabled mobile phones.

The service offers users over 100,000 Internet radio channels on their mobile phones, in addition to access to their own digital music library and the collections of up to five friends.

Santa Clara, Calif.-based Mercora also announced that it has signed a deal with Microsoft, which will provide users of Windows Mobile-based devices with a six-month free subscription to M v2.

The service is otherwise available for $4.99 per month or $49 for an annual subscription.
