Mobile Developer Ecrio Gets $10 Million from NTT DoCoMo

Cupertino, Calif. - Ecrio, a developer of mobile communications and commerce software, announced on Tuesday that it has received a $10 million investment from Japanese wireless carrier NTT DoCoMo.

Cupertino, Calif.-based Ecrio's software has been deployed by customers including NEC, Panasonic, Visa and NTT DoCoMo.

The company said it will use the funds for development of additional 3G mobile applications such as video-sharing, VoIP and push-to-talk.
