London - Webjam, a provider of software that allows consumers to create an online presence that integrates blogs, photos, message boards, news feeds and maps, announced on Wednesday that it has raised $2 million in its first round of venture capital financing, from France's I-Source Gestion.

Founded in 2006 by former Yahoo employees, London-based Webjam said that its page layouts, contents and modules can be replicated by others in the community, and that individual Web elements created using its software can be made public, private, or restricted to a particular community.

The company will use the funds for product development and international expansion across Europe and the U.S.
