XM Satellite Radio Expands Traffic Data Service to 6 New Markets

Washington - XM Satellite Radio, a provider of satellite radio services to more than 7.6 million subscribers, said on Wednesday that it has expanded its NavTraffic satellite traffic data service to six new markets. The service is now available in 50 major North American markets. The service feeds data on incidents, such as accidents and road construction, directly to a vehicle's GPS navigation system.
