Berkeley, Calif. - Yardbarker, a site that aggregates sports-related blogs, announced on Monday that it has raised an undisclosed sum of seed funding, led by Russell Siegelman, a partner at venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.

Other participants included Band of Angels, Epiphany founder Steve Blank, Ron Conway of Baseline Ventures, and Ronnie Lott and Harris Barton of HRJ Capital and Labrador Ventures.

Berkeley, Calif.-based Yardbarker also launched a redesign of its website, which adds scores, rosters, stats and schedules for all major sports teams, as well as video from around the Web and new personalization features.

"Yardbarker started as the place for sports bloggers to come to find readers, and readers to come to find the best bloggers," said Yardbarker co-founder Pete Vlastelica.
