Boston - AT&T has confirmed that Apple's iPhone is on target to go on sale at the end of June, but does not yet know how many units will be available at launch, Reuters reported.

"Our expectations are good. Our testing has been good," AT&T chief operating officer Randall Stephenson told Reuters. "The iPhone is on target to launch in June."

Stephenson said more than one million customers have contacted the company to expressed interest in purchasing an iPhone.

"We got a million people waiting to buy it so we're hoping we get a million," Stephenson said.
