Silver Spring, Md. - BrainBox Enterprises, a creative media firm, said that it has raised an undisclosed amount in its first round of venture capital financing from private equity firm The Albermarle Group. It marks the first time in the company's nine-year history that it has accepted an outside investment, and coincides with BrainBox's recent internal restructuring. The company said that it will use the funds to expand its services, including its digital advertising platform. BrainBox provides production and post-production services for film, video, Web, print and radio, and also develops and produces feature film and television programming.
