San Francisco - Kyte.tv announced on Monday that it has raised an undisclosed sum of initial funding, and launched its service that allows users to create interactive TV shows and broadcast them on websites, blogs, social networks and mobile phones.

The company's backers include Atomico, Draper Fisher Jurvetson's Tim Draper, Howard Hartenbaum of Draper Richards, and Ron Conway.

San Francisco-based Kyte.tv lets users take pictures or videos with a cell phone and instantly broadcast them to their kyte channels, which can publish content in real-time to MySpace pages, other websites or mobile phones.

Users can also create shows from other online content, and add polls, chat and other ways to interact with their audience in real-time.
