Sunnyvale, Calif. - Yahoo announced on Monday that it will play host, along with The Huffington Post and online magazine Slate, to two online-only presidential debates.

Scheduled to take place after Labor Day, the online debates -- one for Democrats and one for Republicans -- will be moderated by PBS' Charlie Rose.

Users will be able to ask direct questions of candidates and comment on which candidate is giving the best performance in real-time.

"With presidential candidates announcing online and with campaign ads and fundraising increasingly online, presidential campaigns are moving to the Internet at breakneck speed. Online debates are the inevitable next step," said Arianna Huffington, co-founder and editor-in-chief of The Huffington Post.
