Providence, R.I. - Creative Circle Advertising Solutions, a developer of Internet advertising software for media companies, announced that it has raised an undisclosed amount of funds in its second round of venture capital.

Investors in the deal included Cherrystone Angel Group, Slater Technology Fund and Walnut Ventures Associates.

Founded in 2004, Providence, R.I.-based Creative Circle offers software for writing and placing private party classifieds in media outlets including newspapers and broadcast stations.

The company said that its software results in "longer ads and more revenue for media companies."
