Westwood, Mass. - Game developer Turbine and publisher Midway Games on Tuesday announced that their "The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar" massively multiplayer online PC game has shipped to retailers. The companies touted the game, which has been in development for over four years, as the only online multiplayer title based on the books of J.R.R. Tolkien.
