Palo Alto, Calif. - Itiva Networks, a provider of video content delivery network services, announced on Wednesday that it has raised $7 million in its third round of financing, from private investors.

Palo Alto, Calif.-based Itiva claims to provide more cost-effective delivery of high-definition and DVD-quality video to mass audiences over the Internet.

Customers include EMI Music Canada and RipTicket; the company also announced a pilot with a "major film studio" in January 2006.

Itiva will use the capital to expand its sales and marketing teams.
