Business Social Network Builder IntroNetworks Raises $2.7 Million

Santa Barbara, Calif. - IntroNetworks, a developer of online social networks for businesses, has raised $2.7 million in its first round of funding, led by Adobe Systems.

Founded in 2003, Santa Barbara, Calif.-based IntroNetworks provides a platform -- based on Adobe's Flash technology -- for businesses to create social networks for events, associations and corporations.

Clients include Adobe, Autodesk, the TED Conference, Dow Jones and Ziff Davis.
