Online Video Network iAmplify Raises $6 Million

New York - iAmplify, an online video network that sells content from experts, authors and celebrities, has raised $6 million in its first round of venture capital financing, led by Kodiak Venture Partners, PEHub.com reported.

Founded in 2004, New York-based iAmplify owns exclusive rights to video in categories such as fitness, nutrition, relationships, spirituality and sports.

The company has partnered with figures such as World Series of Poker champion Phil Hellmuth, and fitness authors Kathy Smith and Tamilee Webb, as well as media companies including HarperCollins Publishers.

iAmplify sells videos on its website and via syndication to portals, aggregators and distributors.
