Los Angeles - News Corp.'s MySpace online social network on Thursday announced plans to host a series of Presidential Town Hall meetings on college campuses, each of which will feature an hour-long dialogue between one candidate and the MySpace community.

To be held between September and December, the meetings will allow MySpace users to submit questions via instant messenger and watch the event live via a MySpace webcast.

"We're welcoming candidates into the MySpace living room," said MySpace president Tom Anderson.

"Unlike living rooms in the primary states of Iowa and New Hampshire, ours holds millions of people wanting to get to know these candidates."

Presidential hopefuls that have signed on to participate in the town hall meetings include Sam Brownback, Hillary Clinton, Chris Dodd, John Edwards, Rudy Giuliani, Duncan Hunter, John McCain, Barack Obama, Ron Paul, Bill Richardson, Mitt Romney and Tommy Thompson.

The town meetings will be held in addition to MySpace's previously announced virtual Presidential Primary, scheduled for Jan. 1-2.
