Tel Aviv, Israel - Hingi, a developer of mobile media ID and e-commerce technology, has raised $3.5 million in an initial round of financing, led by Opus Capital and a group of unnamed investors, Globes Online reported.

The two-year-old, Israel-based company offers mobile operators services that provide consumers the ability to locate and purchase mobile media, like full song downloads and video clips, in two clicks.

Consumers send an SMS message with the name of any broadcast station, such as MTV or a radio station, and receive the names of the last several songs played, along with links to purchase a full song, ringtones, video clips or other media.
