Rotterdam - Minoto Entertainment Europe, a Netherlands-based developer of online game services, announced on Monday that it has raised an undisclosed of new financing, from Lunatech Ventures.

The company also announced that it has acquired photo-sharing service PicServer, and the company's 75,000 users.

Founded in 2006, Minoto recently launched its Online Game Challenger, an application that lets users host multiplayer online game tournaments for cash prizes and skill-based wagers.

The company said the acquisition of PicServer will aid in the development of Online Game Challenger, adding that it will use the funds to accelerate product development and expansion of the application.
