New York - CBS Interactive has agreed to acquire Wallstrip, a video blog focused on the stock market, for an undisclosed sum.

Launched in late 2006, by February Wallstrip claimed 10,000 daily views of its program that examines one stock at a 52-week high, complemented by financial bloggers who dissect the market.

Wallstrip founder Howard Lindzon will become an active consultant, while Lindsay Campbell will continue as the daily program's on-air host.

"I like their syndication strategy and I am bullish on [CBS Interactive president Quincy Smith] and the Interactive Division of course," Lindzon wrote on Wallstrip's blog.

"I am looking forward to making Wallstrip better every day. Congrats to the Wallstrip team for their hard work and our investors for their sheer genius. Awesome day."
