Atlanta - Time Warner's CNN announced on Tuesday that it has made an undisclosed equity investment in Internet Broadcasting, an online publisher of local TV news content, and signed a strategic news and advertising deal with the company.

Under the terms, the companies will share local, national and international news content, and create a new online advertising opportunity by combining CNN's national reach with Internet Broadcasting's regional and local reach.

Other investors in Internet Broadcasting include Hearst-Argyle Television, Post-Newsweek Stations, McGraw-Hill Broadcasting and Split Rock Partners.
