Joost Taps Creative Artists Agency for Content Deals

New York - Joost, the advertising-supported, peer-to-peer streaming TV service, announced on Tuesday that it has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) to help secure content for distribution on its online entertainment network.

"CAA will provide Joost greater access to programming through our relationships with networks, studios, record labels, artists and independently-controlled content libraries," said Michael Yanover, head of business development at CAA.

Founded by the creators of Kazaa and Skype, Joost currently counts more than 150 streaming TV channels, featuring content from providers including CBS, Viacom, CNN, Sony, Warner Music Group, Reuters, National Geographic and the NHL.
