London - Major record label Warner Music plans to put its entire music video archive online and make it available for free viewing, supported by ads, Reuters reported.

The company partnered with U.K.-based Premium TV to create a series of websites to feature the video content, which will be organized by artist, genre or label.

Consumers will also be able to download videos for a fee, and Warner is additionally looking at subscription and mobile models.

"This major new proposition in online TV represents a key step in our continued transformation," Patrick Vien, chairman and CEO of Warner Music International, told Reuters.

"These unique digital hubs will further enable us to monetize our content across the myriad of ever-developing ways that people enjoy music."
