San Jose, Calif. - Game Music Central, an online music store specializing in video game music that was launched by the producers of the Video Games Live concert series, on Monday announced the release of what it says is the first compilation CD of video game music. "Best of the Best: A Tribute to Game Music" features new performances of works from 20 game composers, originally heard in titles such as "World of Warcraft," "Myst," "God of War," "EverQuest," "Splinter Cell" and "Prince of Persia."
