Los Angeles - A 24-year-old Chicago man faces felony copyright infringement charges for posting several episodes of the Fox TV series "24" on the Internet before their broadcast premieres, the Associated Press reported.

According to the federal complaint, Jorge Romero downloaded the TV episodes from one website, and then uploaded then to video-sharing site LiveDigital.com.

Fox had served subpoenas to both LiveDigital and YouTube -- where the TV episodes were also uploaded -- seeking the identity of the person who uploaded the videos.

Romero faces up to three years in prison if convicted on one count of felony copyright infringement.
