Universal Music Group Distribution (UMGD) is seeking a Manager of Marketing/Digital for the Universal City, CA office.

The Manager of Marketing/Digital will be responsible for the content and systems marketing for UMGD Digital, which requires overall management of various digital tools and services. This includes the UMG MusicShop, Retail Microsites, eCRM (electronic customer relationship management), YouTube page, and podcasts, amongst others.

Primary responsibilities will include:
•  Promote the UMG MusicShop to clients to support marketing programs
•  Account management of third party companies
•  Coordinate with labels, UMGD departments, and clients to execute shops
•  Analyze and report on the efficacy of promotions
•  Manage department finances, including invoicing and budgeting
•  Lead department initiatives that integrate content websites and systems
•  Oversee the activities of department coordinator

Secondary responsibilities will include creating, maintaining, and updating the numerous tools, as well as banner and website creation.

Requirements:
• Must be technically savvy
• Solid experience in HTML and graphic design (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Flash)
• Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Detail oriented
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Solid understanding of digital music technology, the online music environment, and digital music sites
• Some experience in working with a team and managing people
