Universal Music Group Distribution (UMGD) is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator for the Universal City, CA location.

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the creation, production, fulfillment and servicing of digital merchandising materials and creative product updates for Universal Music Group Distribution to its partners.

Job Functions:

Create, format, update and deliver weekly email newsletters to partners and labels – highlighting key merchandising, marketing and promotional activities.

Create and maintain regular product sales information, featured artist pitches and artist overview one-sheets for partner distribution.

Create, design and maintain presentation templates for marketing group.

Coordinate and assist with partner marketing approvals and communications.

Support Marketing Managers with tracking key partner marketing campaigns and promotions. Maintain a partner marketing materials inventory and assist with assembling a monthly summary report to group.

Work with UMG labels and internal departments to obtain pre-approved marketing materials and maintain a central inventory of marketing assets for UMGD partner activities.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge and proven proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word as well as key graphics and web production tools & applications (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS).

Proven experience in creating digital marketing materials such as email newsletters, robust presentation templates and banners.

Excellent communication and relationship skills with a high attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to communicate with both internal and external partners on a regular basis in a productive and collaborative manner.

Experience in managing multiple tasks and projects. Ability to multitask, organize and prioritize while maintaining a positive attitude and communication.
