Mobile Social Networking Firm IceBreaker Raises $7.2 Million

Bellevue, Wash. - IceBreaker, a developer of mobile social networking software, announced on Tuesday that it has raised $7.2 million in new financing, co-led by Frazier Technology Ventures and previous investor Lightspeed Venture Partners.

Founded in 2005, Bellevue, Wash.-based IceBreaker has developed Crush or Flush, a mobile application that lets users flirt, chat and meet people with similar interests.

In its first four months, the service has attracted 150,000 registered users and counts 20 million monthly page views.

The company will use the funds for marketing, product development and the expansion of its research and development office in Beijing.
