San Diego - Anywhere CD, the online CD and MP3 store created by MP3.com founder Michael Robertson, has settled a legal dispute with major label Warner Music Group over the sale of albums in MP3 format.

In April, Warner demanded the company remove MP3 versions of albums from its online store, which bundles the MP3 version of an album when a consumer purchases the CD.

AnywhereCD then sued Warner for breach of contract, business defamation and trade libel; Warner countersued, asking a court to nullify the contract.

Under the settlement, Warner CDs with bundled MP3 albums will remain available for sale on Anywhere CD until September 30, at which time the contract will be terminated, earlier than the terms had originally stated.
